Twisted Pines Mission:

Our purpose is simple – to provide high quality, sustainably farmed, locally raised food that’s affordable and available to our community.
Our passion is farming – we are in continual awe of God and His creation and we operate our farm to mirror the system He created.
Our philosophy is holistic – we embrace every cycle and season of life and pass that on our customers, family, and friends.

Grant is a third generation Colorado native. Born in raised in Colorado Springs, Grant never really wanted to call anywhere else home. His grandfather owned and ran a quarter horse ranch in Black Forest for over 40 years and that's where he gets his love of farm and ranch life. In his off time (which doesn't happen a whole lot!) Grant is a die hard bowhunter. He loves the outdoors and enjoys getting to spend as much time as he can with his family and his best buddy, his yellow lab Hank. Grant is the backbone of the farming operation and is constantly working on improving his process, system, and working with his animals.

Twisted Pines Farm was started in 2014 by Grant and Alison Goldberg after they talked about their future and what they wanted out of life. After many talks and becoming frustrated trying to find a local source for staple foods like eggs, meat, and vegetables, they decided to start their farming operation as a way to give people high quality food while simultaneously getting to be outdoors and enjoy God's creation. They believe that there is no higher calling than to feed people and they live that mantra everyday in everything that they do. They have 2 boys, Zachary who was born in 2014 and loves the outdoors and the animals as much as anyone and Ryker who was born in June of 2016.

Alison was born in Boynton Beach, FL and moved with her folks to Georgetown, TX when she was just 3. Growing up in a small town was a lot of fun for her. She was a captain on the varsity swim team and loved spending as much time outdoors as she could including being the leader for Venturing Crew and going camping, hiking, and floating on the river as often as she could. She moved to Colorado after she met Grant where she studied to be an RN. After having Zac and Ryker and deciding with Grant that they wanted to pursue farming, Alison decided to stay home full time and also provides all the admin support for the farm as well as taking the lead on growing everything for the garden.
